And now for something completely Different…
You all saw the struggle with the plants. I needed a break.
Did anyone else grow up with those scratch off pads? They were all black and then as you scratched it off, the rainbow colored paper below revealed itself?
So when I saw this, it brought me back. Same deal: scratch off the blue to reveal the neon green (which glows in the dark) underneath.
I saw these at my New Seasons (grocery store) in the gift section
It looked simple but cute and it was low cost so I picked it up. I had completed one and then they sat to the side for months.
Along with the four sheets and a scratching tool, there is a small booklet to give you ideas on the patterns to use to scratch off the animals, but you could also do whatever you want. There really is no wrong way to enjoy this one!
Recommended age is 6-11 years, so I’m a little out of the range, but I had fun nonetheless. When I looked it up later, I only found it on UK sites, so I’m not sure how I lucked out.
This is a great little gift, stocking stuffer, or distraction for a plane ride - I am starting to realize my parents were the only ones to give us (small) new things as distractions for plane rides, but highly recommend it for parents needing an easier flight.
